Labour: BNE / IPPR event: “What next for the progressive left at home, in Europe and globally”
Business for New Europe and IPPR
Panel discussion, followed by drinks reception
The centre left faces the challenge of an electoral map of Europe currently bathed in the blue of the centre-right. With the centre-ground in Britain being increasingly defined as “progressive” by all three of the main political parties, there is clearly a debate to be had about what that means on the different ends of the political spectrum. This event will seek to focus on how the centre-left will intend to seize that ground over the coming years.
